  Great colors but a bit too much sparkle

  I'll start with the great. These colors are fabulous, better than I was hoping for, actually. The different sizes and weights of the grains require a good bit of shaking before use, but that's to be expected.
  
  Now for the not so great, at least for me. These are described has having a "hint of sparkle", which I expected would make them look more like the materials they are named after. However, in my opinion, there is just way too much. My test swatches look like a grungy glitter fairy went crazy. I'm not saying it doesn't look good, but it doesn't fit my usual aesthetic. Because of it, I'll be reaching for them less frequently than I had hoped.
